I was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award by the beautiful and talented Kymber, whose story, Noble Doubt is one of my faves. Thank you so much, Kymber. This nomination has be totally honored and stoked.
Here are the answers to Kymber’s questions.
What is your favorite TV show?
I’m totally showing my age here, but I LOVE The Twilight Zone. I could sit and watch that for hours. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention a sitcom or two here. I say two because it has to be a toss-up between Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. Some honorable mentions (but very high up on the list) are Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. How could I not mention them when Lenora has a son named Landon?
What color are your eyes?
Blue-gray
Do you collect anything? What?
Yes, indeed, I do! There are several thins, actually. Firstly, I collect (and use) fountain pens. I have nearly 300 pens in my collection. I love to color (yep, there are coloring books for adults), so I have scads of them as well as a boatload of colored pencils and other supplies. I can’t leave this question without mentioning my journals and planners, as I have a good number of those.
What is something you feel strongly about?
The Lions Club. I’m a very active member at both the club and district levels. They do marvelous work for folks with visual and hearing impairments with many clubs being very community-oriented. I was on the receiving end as a child (I required a number of visual aides due to my own visual impairment), so it’s nice that I can contribute and give back.
What is your favorite thing about storytelling?
I adore being able to bring my characters to life and find adventures and even harrowing experiences for them. I love my characters to bits, but I beat them up a lot so there is a good (and hopefully riveting) story to tell. I’m also a romantic soul with a supernatural heart, so I’m totally in my element when I can bring romance and the paranormal into a story.
Dogs? Cats? Both? Or none?
I love all animals, but I’m a doggy gal through and through. I’m a Golden Retriever fanatic (I have two of them) but have a big soft spot for Beagles. I get kinda weepy when I see a Beagle because the hubs and I had one we loved dearly. I go completely bonkers when I see a Goldie, and the two knuckleheads I have here crack me up and make me smile every day.
