Ileah's Bachelorette Challenge

Ileah’s Bachelorette Challenge, Part 4: Everywhere I Look, Shirtless Men!

The next couple of days were to be pretty low key. Jen told me to just keep myself available for the guys when they wanted to talk or whatever. It would be anther double elimination, so I just wanted to take some time to get to know the guys a little more before I had to make my decision.

When I got up the next morning, it didn’t take long for Ben to find me. We started talking and then, he started to flirt with me, which I rather enjoyed.

Declan and I had a very pleasant conversation, then he, too started flirting with me. I could tell he is one guy who doesn’t like to miss the action.

Speaking of action, I guess some of the other guys felt they needed to check on us and get my attention. I really didn’t mind. After all, this is what this show is about, and I wanted to give all the guys equal chances. I believe in playing fair.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go very well with Gentian. We started out the conversation well enough but it just didn’t click somehow. He’s a very nice guy, but I began to wonder if we were just two peas from different pods.

Eric came over to make me feel better. We talked about cameras and photography, and I learned a little. With the digital age upon us, Eric says the art of actually building composition for a photo and developing it yourself has gone by the wayside. I guess I never really thought of it since I just use my phone if I want to snap a picture. Interesting.

As Eric and I talked, I could see that Declan was keeping very close tabs.

Since that first rough meeting, Eli had since apologized, and we got on much better. He bragged for a while about his gaming skills. “Hang on a sec. I’ll be back with a little handheld I like to mess with,” he said, scurrying off to his room. When he came back, the shirt was off and I had to fan myself. Oh, Mama! I wondered when the shirts were going to start coming off.

It wasn’t long after that when I was surrounded by shirtless guys. More fanning, fast breathing, smoldering looks, and ah, more flirting! I know I will sound like a brazen hoe for this, but I wonder if I could talk the producers into letting me keep them all.

When I thought it couldn’t get any better, I was proven so wrong.

When I was able to train my eyes away from bare chests, Eric, Eli, and I had a very nice chat.

I spent some time getting to know Laban, who is a really nice guy. We talked about quite a few things, but I could see he was ready to pack it in for the night. I wished him a good night and told him I hoped he’d sleep well.

I could see that Jared was in it to win. We spent quite a bit of time just talking. He was easy to talk to and has such a fun side to him. We flirted for a while, and then he told me about the dream car he’s always wanted to get.

I needed some fresh air. It had been quite a day, and my brain was fried. As I came down the stairs, Laban was waiting for me. We had a great conversation, just the two of us with nobody standing in line for attention for once. I could tell he was a gentle soul when he talked about how he’d made a butterfly display for his sister. It made me go all soft inside. I didn’t have a big brother but had always wanted one.

Laban hadn’t gone to bed, and he looked as exhausted as I felt. “Laban, you really should call it a night. You look bushed.”

“I will. I just wanted to wish you a good night again without everyone else watching,” he said.

I smiled and thought to myself how I loved the way his beautiful wings sparkled in the moonlight.

The next day was much the same. Everywhere I turned, there were guys wanting to talk and sometimes flirt.

What was different, however, was that tempers flared, and there was talk about how certain people were being too pushy and couldn’t wait their turn. I’d have to think about how to deal with that, but first, I had some decision making to do.

Again, it was a pretty easy decision.

Gentian is a good guy but would be suited for someone else. I like him but just couldn’t see myself spending the rest of my life with him as lovers. I wished him well, and he said he understood.

Demario, unfortunately, wasn’t interested after our first meeting. He was like the Invisible Man, as he just didn’t come around. I hope he’ll find happiness, and I wished him all the best.

Author’s Note: I was very surprised to see the zeros for the relationship value with Demario and Gentian. From the last round, they weren’t very high, but this time, they backtracked. Ileah and Gentian had a couple of negative interactions, and Demario didn’t interact with her at all. I thought, at first, it might have been a glitch, but I checked them all three times. I was sorry to see them go. I’ve always had fun with Gentian, and I wish I’d gotten to hang onto Demario for a little while longer. It just goes to show that you never know what can happen with these challenges.

Pierce is in first place, but funnily enough, Ileah is rolling wants to kiss, hug, and WooHoo with Declan.

Here’s an interesting piece of info. The daughter was watching me play this challenge and is a big fan of Eric. She said she LOVES the house I’m playing in and wants to live in it. One comment she made was, “How did she get so lucky to have all these hunks around her?” I couldn’t help laughing. As much as she likes Eric, she loves Declan’s muscles and how he looks when he’s shirtless.
